Turning on AI collapses the picker to one jurisdiction, so the answer or assisted search stays focused on one jurisdiction.

Result counts

Changing jurisdiction updates the available results. Other filters narrow the decisions within your selection.

Saved searches

A saved search keeps the jurisdiction, query, and filters together so re-running it returns to the same scope.

Federal sources

On the database page, federal courts are selected inside the same jurisdiction picker, under each state’s card.

Set jurisdictions

Open the jurisdiction picker to select the states and courts you want to search.
