Save decisions, organize them into private folders, add notes, and return to saved searches.
Accounts
You can search public decisions without an account. Sign in when you want the site to remember your research, email preferences, and account-specific tools.
Saved decisions, folders, notes, saved searches, and saved AI answers are tied to your account.
Choose which state decision alerts you receive and update those preferences any time.

Change the display name on your account. The email address on the account cannot be changed from settings.
Turn decision alerts on or off by state, or unsubscribe from all account emails.
Choose the default jurisdiction your connector should search when a request does not name one.
When paid plans are available, billing and subscription management will appear in account settings.

Alerts are sent when new decisions or rulings are posted in a state you follow.
Add or remove state subscriptions from Account Settings whenever your research scope changes.
Every alert email includes an unsubscribe link that works without signing in.
Saved work and privacy
Folders, notes, saved decisions, saved searches, and saved AI answers are private to your account. Export downloads your saved decisions and notes as a spreadsheet. Removing saved work only removes it from your account; it does not delete any public decision from the database.
- Do not put student-identifying information into search or AI prompts.
- Use private notes for your own research labels and reminders.
- Export saved decisions before major folder cleanup.
- Use Contact for account deletion or email-address changes.
