Gentlemen:

I am writing to clarify the Order portion of the decision in the above-captioned case. That Order is hereby amended to read as follows:

For the reasons set forth above, the school is ordered to provide

$55,000.00 (fifty-five thousand dollars) to the guardians of the student to be held in trust for the benefit of the student. These funds are intended to enable the family to obtain compensatory educational services for the student substantially as described in this decision.

A copy of this letter will be sent this date to the Maine Department of Education for attachment to the decision in this case. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
