ISSUES:

1. Did the Board offer and/or provide an appropriate program for the 2017-2018, 2018-19 school years, including ESY?

2. If not, is the Grove School the appropriate program and should the Student be placed there at the expense of the Board?

3. Is the Student entitled to compensatory education?

PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:

The Parents filed the Due Process Hearing Complaint on August 5, 2019. The Hearing Officer was appointed on August 5, 2019. The pre-hearing conference was held on August 20, 2019. Hearings were scheduled for October 22, 2019, October 24, 2019, and October 31, 2019. Upon Motion by the parties, the date for the mailing of the final memorandum of decision was extended to November 18, 2019. The Parents withdrew their complaint on October 11, 2019.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The matter is DISMISSED.
