Is the Board of Education’s evaluation of the Student appropriate?
PROCEDURAL HISTORY:
The Board of Education requested a special education due process hearing in the above-captioned matter on May 23, 2017. This Impartial Hearing Officer was also appointed to hear the case on May 23, 2017.
On June 6, 2017, Counsel for the Board of Education reported that the Student withdrew the request for an independent educational evaluation and requested that the matter be dismissed.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
It is ordered that the Student’s request is granted and the matter is dismissed.
