PROCEDURAL HISTORY:
The Student requested a special education due process hearing in the above-captioned matter on October 22, 2014. A telephonic pre-hearing conference was held on November 13, 2014. Attorney Phillip Cohn appeared on behalf of the Student and Attorney Michelle Laubin appeared on behalf of the Fairfield Board of Education. It was established that the deadline for completing the hearing and issuing a final decision in the case is January 5, :
2015. A hearing was scheduled to take place on January 15, 2015. On December 8, 2014, ; the Student reported that the dispute had been resolved at mediation, and requested that the, case be dismissed.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
It is ordered that the Student’s request for dismissal is granted and this matter is dismissed.
