ISSUE:
Whether the Board’s most recent neuropsychological, speech and language, and transition evaluations of Student are appropriate?
PROCEDURAL HISTORY AND SUMMARY:
On March 18, 2014, the Parents received a Request for a Special Education Due Process Hearing and the undersigned Hearing Officer was appointed. The original deadline for mailing the Final Decision and Order was established as May 2, 2014. During the prehearing conference held on April 3, 2014, Attorney for the Board requested an extension of the hearing deadline in order to accommodate additional hearing dates. There was no objection to the extension from Attorney for the Student and the request was granted. A new deadline for the mailing of the Final Decision and Order was established as June 1, 2014. On April 10, 2014, Counsel for the Parents withdrew the Request for the Special Education Due Process Hearing.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
In light of the above facts, the case is dismissed.
