ISSUES:

1. Whether the Board offered the Student an appropriate program for the 2012-13 school year.

2. If not, whether the Parent’s proposed addition to the Student’s program of a one-to-one paraprofessional is appropriate.

PROCEDURAL HISTORY/DISCUSSION:

This request for hearing was received by the Board on December 6, 2012 and a prehearing conference convened on December 14, 2012. At the prehearing conference, the Parent indicated that she did not agree to mediation and the Board’s attorney stated that the Board would schedule a resolution session. On January 9, 2012 the Parent submitted notification that the parties had resolved the issue pertaining to the Student. Therefore, this matter is dismissed.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The matter is DISMISSED.
