Are the Board’s most recent speech and language and psycho-educational evaluations sufficiently appropriate to deny the Parent’s request for an individual educational evaluation at public expense?
PROCEDURAL HISTORY:
This hearing was requested by the Board on October 31, 2012. The Hearing Officer was appointed on that same date. The date for mailing the final decision and order was ! January 14, 2013.
The prehearing conference was held on November 21, 2012. The above issue is the sole issue in this matter. The Parties set a Due Process Hearing date for December 17, 2012, and agreed to pursue mediation prior to that date in an attempt to resolve the issue. ' Mediation was scheduled and held on December 6, 2012. The Parties resolved the issue through mediation, and on December 7, 2012 the Board withdrew their complaint and request for a Due Process hearing.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
Pursuant to the written request of the Board, through counsel, that the matter had been resolved and that they wished to withdraw their complaint, and with no further issues to be addressed, the MATTER IS DISMISSED.
