ISSUES:

1. Whether the Board’s Psycho-Educational Evaluation was appropriate;

2. Whether the Board’s Speech and Language Evaluation was appropriate;

3. Whether the Board should pay for an Independent Psycho-educational Evaluation;

4. Whether the Board should pay for an Independent Speech and Language Evaluation.

SUMMARY:

On December 10, 2010, the Parents received the Request for Due Process. A Prehearing Conference was held on December 29, 2010 and hearing dates were scheduled. On January 11,2011, Counsel for the Board notified the Hearing Officer that the parties had reached a settlement agreement and withdrew the Due Process Request with prejudice.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The matter is DISMISSED, with prejudice.
