ISSUES:

1. Whether the Board’s proposed program for the 2007-08 school year was appropriate.

2. Whether the Board proposed an appropriate program for the 2008-09 school year and the extended school year.

3. Whether the Winston Preparatory School is appropriate for the Student for the 2007-08 and 2008-09 school years.

4. Whether the Parents shall be reimbursed for the cost of placement of the Student at the Winston Preparatory School for the 2007-08 and 2008-09 school years.

SUMMARY:

The Board received this request for hearing on July 11, 2008, and a pre-hearing conference was convened on July 16, 2008. On August 21, 2008, the Parents’ attorney submitted notification that the case had settled.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The matter is DISMISSED.
