PROCEDURAL HISTORY
This hearing was requested on July 18, 2007 by the Parents (Mother), who sent a form to the State Department of Education ("SDE"). This Hearing Officer was assigned to the case on July 20. The Board received a copy of the complaint on July 23. On August 2, the Board's attorney filed an appearance. On August 3, a prehearing conference was held with the parties, who agreed to mediation. A hearing date was scheduled for September 13. and the decision deadline was set at October 9, 2007.
On August 9, the Hearing Officer received a notice from the SDE that mediation was scheduled on August 20. On August 22, the SDE sent a notice to the Hearing Officer stating that the parties reached agreement at the mediation and that the hearing request was withdrawn.
It is ordered that this case shall be dismissed.
