1. Whether the Board’s program for the Student for the 2005-2006 school year was appropriate.
2. Whether the Board’s extended school year program for the Student for the summer 2005 was appropriate.
3. Whether the Board’s proposed extended school year program for the Student for the summer 2006 was appropriate.
4. Whether the Board’s proposed program for the 2006-2007 school year is appropriate.
5. Whether the Board’s reading assessment of the Student was appropriate.
6. Whether the Parents’ placement of the Student for the summer 2006, and proposed placement for the school year 2006-2007 is appropriate.
7. Whether the Student is entitled to compensatory education.
Board’s:
Whether the Student shall undergo a neuropsychological evaluation by Dr. Gary Isenberg, Dr. Gregory Javornisky or Dr. Mary Prevey, whichever evaluator is available at the earliest time.
SUMMARY:
The Board received this request for hearing on June 13, 2006. A prehearing conference was held on June 19. On July 7, the Board’s attorney submitted a request to add the additional Board’s issue to this hearing, which was granted.
The hearing convened on July 19 and August 16. On August 17 and 18, counsel for both parties filed Motions to Dismiss the case with prejudice, as the parties had settled the matter. Those motions are hereby, GRANTED.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
The matter is DISMISSED, with prejudice.
