Appearing before: Attorney Christine B. Spak Hearing Officer

This hearing was requested by the Board. The issue was whether the Board’s assistive technology evaluation was appropriate, and if not, whether the Board should be required to fund an independent assistive technology evaluation. Hearing dates were selected that were agreed to by the parties. On the first day of hearing the parties requested more time to attempt to negotiate a settlement and this time was given. Prior to the second date of hearing the Board notified the hearing officer that the parties had reached a tentative settlement and would not be needing further hearing dates.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The hearing is dismissed.
