1. Did the Board offer an appropriate program for the 2019-2020, and 2020-2021 school years?

2. If not, is placement at the Southport School the appropriate program for the Student for the 2020-21 school year, and should the board be ordered to place the student at the Southport for the 2020-21 school year?

3. Is the Student entitled to compensatory education?

PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:

The Parents brought their Hearing Request on November 5, 2020. The Hearing Officer was appointed November 6, 2020. A Prehearing Telephone Conference took place on November 16, 2020. A hearing on the matter was subsequently scheduled for January 11, 2021.

On January 6, 2021, the Parents informed the Hearing Officer that they were withdrawing their request for a Due Process Hearing with prejudice.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The matter is DISMISSED.
