PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:

The Student is entitled to receive a free and appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment as defined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (“IDEA”) §20 U. S. C. 1401 et seq. and Connecticut General Statutes §10-76a et seq. The Student initiated this special education due process case on August 7, 2020. The Hearing Officer was appointed on August 11, 2020. Pre-hearing conferences were scheduled for on August 18, 2020. On August 18, 2020 the District withdrew its request for due process.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The matter is DISMISSED
