Was the speech and language evaluation provided by the District appropriate?

SUMMARY AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY:

Case 21-0019 was commenced by the Board on July 13, 2020. On July 16, 2020, the undersigned hearing officer sent notice that a prehearing conference would be held on July 21, 2020. Based on the date of filing, the decision date was determined to be August 28, 2020.

On July 16, 2020, the undersigned hearing officer was advised by the attorney for the District that, based on the withdrawal of the Parents’ request for an independent evaluation, the District was withdrawing its request for a due process hearing without prejudice.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The matter is dismissed without prejudice.
