ISSUES:

The following issues have been identified for determination at the hearing:

1. Did the Board of Education deny the Student a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) by modifying the Student’s curriculum?

2. Did the Board of Education deny the Student FAPE by failing to provide pre-study and academic related vocabulary practice?

PROCEDURAL HISTORY:

The Student initiated this special education due process case on February 11, 2020. This Impartial Hearing Officer was assigned to the case on February 18, 2020. A Prehearing Conference was scheduled to convene on March 12, 2020.

On March 11, 2020, the Student requested that the matter be dismissed.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The Student’s request is granted and the matter is dismissed.
