ISSUE:
Whether the Parents are entitled an independent educational evaluation (IEE) at public expense in the area(s) of cognitive ability, academic achievement, occupational therapy, speech and language and/or behavior?
PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:
The Board filed the Due Process Complaint and Request for Hearing on October 31, 2019. The Hearing Officer was appointed on November 5, 2019. A Prehearing Conference was held on November 8, 2019. The mailing date was extended to January 14, 2020. On January 7, 2020, counsel for the Parents advised that the Parties had reached an agreement, the Parents had withdrawn their IEE request and therefore, the matter was moot.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
In light of the above, the matter is DISMISSED.
