ISSUES:
1. Did the Board offer an appropriate program for the 2019-20 school year including the 2019 extended school year?
2. If not, is placement at IDS the appropriate program for the Student for the 2019- 20 school year and should the Board be ordered to place the Student at IDS for the 2019-20 school year?
PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:
The Parents brought the initial Due Process Complaint and Hearing Request on September 18, 2019. The Hearing Officer was appointed on September 19, 2019. The Due Process Request was amended on October 3, 2019. A Prehearing Telephone Conference took place on October 30, 2019.
The mailing date was extended by thirty days on October 24, 2019; December 30, 2019, and on January 19, 2020.
A hearing on the matter was scheduled for February 21, 2020.
On February 10, 2020, the Parents’ attorney notified the Hearing Officer that the parties had settled the matter and that the Parents were withdrawing their request for a hearing with prejudice.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
The matter is DISMISSED
