ISSUES:

1. Did the Board fail to provide the Student with FAPE for the 2017-2018, 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school years, including ESY for 2018 and 2019?

2. If the District failed to provide FAPE, is placement of the Student at The Glenholme School in Washington, CT appropriate as a residential or day placement?

3. Is the Board responsible for any or all costs associated with the Student’s placement at Glenhome?

4. Is the Student entitled to any other relief determined to be appropriate by the Hearing Officer?

PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:

The Parents filed the Due Process Complaint and Request for Hearing on September 3, 2019. The Hearing Officer was appointed on September 4, 2019. A Prehearing Conference was held on September 10, 2019. The issues in the case were set forth, and hearing dates were set for late October and early November. The October hearing dates were cancelled, and the Hearing Officer was notified on October 30th that an agreement had been reached and the parents were withdrawing their request for a due process hearing.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The matter is DISMISSED with prejudice.
