ISSUES:

1. Whether the Board’s most recent achievement and occupational therapy evaluations of the Student are appropriate?

2. If not, are the Parents entitled to an independent educational evaluation at public expense?

PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:

The Board brought its Hearing Request on June 24, 2019. The Hearing Officer was appointed June 25, 2019. A Prehearing Telephone Conference was tentatively scheduled for July 1, 2019.

On July 1, 2019, the Board informed the Hearing Officer that the Parents withdrew their request for an IEE, and that as a result the Board withdrew its request for a Due Process Hearing without prejudice.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The matter is DISMISSED.
