ISSUES:

1. Did the District provide the Student with FAPE for the 2019-2020 school year, including ESY for 2019?

2. If not, what is the remedy?

3. Is the Student entitled to compensatory education and/or any other remedy deemed appropriate by the Hearing Officer?

PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:

The Parents filed the Due Process Complaint and Request for Hearing on June 24, 2019. The Hearing Officer was appointed on June 25, 2019. A Prehearing Conference was scheduled for June 28th, 2019 and the parties agreed on a hearing date of August 13, 2019. The parties indicated they were already close to a settlement and only chose one day for the hearing. The Hearing Officer was notified by the parties on July 5, 2019 that a settlement had been reached and the Parents were withdrawing their request for due process with prejudice.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The matter is DISMISSED with prejudice.
