1. Did the Board offer an appropriate program for the 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019- 20 school years including the 2018 and 2019 extended school years?
2. If not, is residential placement at Grove School the appropriate program for the Student for the 2019-20 school year and should the board be ordered to place the Student at Grove School for the 2019-20 school year?
3. Is the Student entitled to compensatory education?
PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:
The Parents brought the initial Due Process Complaint and Hearing Request on July 9, 2019. The Hearing Officer was appointed on July 11, 2019. A Prehearing Telephone Conference was scheduled for July 22, 2019.
On July 18, 2019, the Parents’ attorney notified the Hearing Officer that the parties had settled the matter and that the Parents were withdrawing their request for hearing with prejudice.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
The matter is DISMISSED with prejudice.
