ISSUES:

PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:
The Parent filed the Due Process Complaint and Request for Hearing on February 21, 2019. The Hearing Officer was appointed on February 28, 2019 and conducted a Prehearing Conference on March 14, 2019. Counsel for the parties reported that the parties were engaged in meaningful discussions to settle the dispute as a result of a resolution meeting. The hearing was scheduled for April 25, 2019. On the hearing day, the parties continued to negotiate a settlement of the dispute with the permission of the Hearing Officer. Later, the Parent’s attorney reported to the Hearing Officer on the record that the Parent had reviewed the latest terms of an agreement and were satisfied that their dispute with contingencies, which assurances were given on the record by the Board. The Parent then withdrew the Due Process Complaint.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
The matter is DISMISSED.
