ISSUES:
1. Did the Board offer an appropriate program for the 2016-17, [1] 2017-18, 2018-19 school years including the 2017 and 2018 extended school years?
2. If not, is placement at IEA the appropriate program for the Student for the 2018-19 school year and should the Board be ordered to place the Student at IEA for the 2018-19 school year?
3. Is the Student entitled to compensatory education?
PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:
The Parents filed the Due Process Hearing Complaint on January 14, 2019. The Hearing Officer was appointed on January 61, 2019. A prehearing conference was held on February 13, 2019. Hearings were scheduled for April 24, 2019 and April 25, 2019. Upon Motion by the parties, the date for the mailing of the final memorandum of decision was extended to May 29, 2019. A Hearing for May 10, 2019 was scheduled. The Parents withdrew their complaint on May 10, 2019.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
The matter is DISMISSED.
