ISSUES:

1. Whether the Board’s most recent speech evaluations of the Student are appropriate under the law?

2. Is the Guardian entitled to an independent speech evaluation at public expense?

PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:

The Board brought its Hearing Request on October 15, 2018. The Hearing Officer was appointed October 16, 2018. A Prehearing Telephone Conference was scheduled for November 2, 2018.

On November 1, 2018, the Board informed the Hearing Officer that the Board entered into a settlement agreement with the Guardian that resolved the request for a Board funded Independent Educational Evaluation. The Board withdrew its Due Process Request.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The matter is DISMISSED
