Are the Parents entitled to an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) at public expense?

PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:

The Board filed the Due Process Complaint and Request for Hearing on June 1, 2018. The Hearing Officer was appointed on June 4, 2018. A Prehearing Conference was held on June 25, 2018. A hearing date was noticed for August 16, 2018. The parties participated in a mediation on August 14, 2018. The hearing was opened on August 16, 2018 and the Board reported that the matter was withdrawn and a settlement agreement had been fully executed. The Hearing Officer dismissed the matter on the record and advised that a written decision would follow.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

In light of the above, the matter is DISMISSED.
