ISSUES:

1. Whether the Student required an out of district placement for the 2017-18 school year to provide FAPE?

2. Whether the IEP for the 2018-19 school year provides FAPE?

3. Whether additional evaluations are needed so that the Student would be able to be educated in the Board’s middle school?

PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:

The Parent filed the Due Process Complaint and Request for Hearing on May 17, 2018. The Hearing Officer was appointed on that same date. A Prehearing Conference was noticed for August 22, 2018. On August 21, 2018, the Parent emailed the Hearing Officer and advised that the Due Process Complaint was being withdrawn.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

In light of the above, the matter is DISMISSED.
