The Parent’s filed the Due Process Complaint and Request for Hearing on February 9, 2018. The Hearing Officer was appointed on February 9, 2018. A Prehearing Conference was scheduled for February 15, 2018. A hearing date was agreed upon for April 10, 2018 and a decision date of April 24, 2018. The parties engaged in an unsuccessful mediation on March 29, 2018. However, the parties contacted the Hearing Officer to request a postponement of the April 10, 2018 hearing date so the parties might explore further options proposed by the Board. The postponement was granted, with the parties agreeing to contact the Hearing Officer with a settlement or a request to move forward with the hearing request. The parties have not contacted the Hearing Officer with a settlement or a request to continue with due process as of this date.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
The matter is DISMISSED without prejudice.
