2. If not, is placement at Bierman School the appropriate program for the Student for the 2017-18 school year and should the Board be ordered to place the Student at Bierman School for the 2017-18 school year?
3. Is the Student entitled to compensatory education?
PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:
The Parent filed the Due Process Complaint and Request for Hearing on December 12, 2018. The Hearing Officer was appointed on December 14, 2018 and conducted a Prehearing Conference on January 24, 2018. The Parents’ request to extend the mailing date to engage in mediation was granted. The mailing date was extended to March 23, 208 and the hearing was scheduled for March 16, 2018. On March 14, 2018, the Parents withdrew their request for hearing without prejudice.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
The matter is DISMISSED without prejudice.
