PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:

The parents filed the Due Process Complaint and Request for Hearing on November 16, 2017. The Hearing Officer was appointed on November 16, 2017, and a Prehearing Conference was conducted on November 28, 2017. On January 16, 2018, the parents, through counsel, filed a Motion to Amend the Due Process Complaint, which was not ruled on due to the pending mediation. On February 5, 2018, the parties upon mutual request were given an initial extension of the hearing based upon on-going mediation. The parties, upon mutual request were given a second extension of the hearing on March 16, 2018 to accommodate the hearing dates as scheduled. The parents, through counsel, notified the Hearing Officer that the parties have executed a settlement agreement and the parents were withdrawing their request for hearing with prejudice as of April 4, 2018.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The matter is DISMISSED with prejudice.
