Did the Board offer an appropriate program for the 2017-2018 school year?

PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:

The Parent filed the Due Process Complaint and Request for Hearing on October 17, 2017. The Hearing Officer was appointed on October 18, 2017 and conducted a Prehearing Conference on October 26, 2017. The Hearing Officer granted leave to amended the Hearing Request and an Amended Hearing Request was filed on October 30, 2017 at which time the timelines were extended and the new mailing date of the Final Decision was determined to be January 12, 2018. The hearing was scheduled for December 18, 2017. At the beginning of the hearing, the Parent’s attorney reported that the parties had settled their dispute and that the Parent was withdrawing the Due Process Complaint with prejudice.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

The matter is DISMISSED with prejudice.
