PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:
The Darien Board of Education filed the Due Process Complaint and Request for Hearing on August 11, 2017. The Hearing Officer was appointed on August 11, 2017 and a Prehearing Conference had not yet been conducted. The Board requested this hearing based upon the parents’ request for an IEE. The parents subsequently withdrew their request for an IEE on August 23, 2017. The Board of Education informed the Hearing Officer that the matter is being withdrawn as of August 31, 2018.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
The matter is DISMISSED without prejudice.
