ISSUES:

Whether an out of district placement, rather than the placement offered by the Board, is necessary to provide the Student FAPE for the 2017-2018 school year?

PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:

The Parent, pro se, filed the Due Process Complaint and Request for Hearing on July 10, 2017. The Hearing Officer was appointed on July 17, 2017, and conducted a Prehearing Conference on July 28, 2017. During the conference, the Board advised that a resolution meeting would be held. On August 16, 2017, the Board reported that a settlement had been reached through the resolution process. The Parent withdrew the Due Process Complaint in writing via email to the Hearing Officer on August 21, 2017.

FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:

In light of the above, the matter is DISMISSED.
