PROCEDURAL HISTORY:
The Student initiated this special education due process case on July 6, 2017. This Impartial Hearing Officer was assigned to the case on July 13, 2017. A Prehearing Conference was convened on July 19, 2017. The Student’s Surrogate Parent appeared on behalf of the Student and Attorney Christine Sullivan appeared on behalf of the Board of Education. At that time, the Student agreed to amend the request for due process. The Student then amended the request for due process on July 24, 2018. A second prehearing conference was scheduled for August 11, 2017.
On August 5, 2017, the Student reported that the parties had resolved the dispute at mediation and requested that the matter be withdrawn or dismissed.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
It is ordered that the Student’s request is granted and the matter is dismissed.
