PROCEDURAL HISTORY/SUMMARY:
The Board brought the Due Process Complaint and Hearing Request on June 2, 2017. The Hearing Officer was appointed on June 9, 2017. A prehearing conference was scheduled for June 23, 2017. Prior to the prehearing conference, the Mother emailed the Hearing Officer and Board’s counsel that the Father, who also has parental rights, did not get any notice of the Hearing Request. At the prehearing conference on June 23, 2017, the Board’s counsel confirmed that the Hearing Request was not sent to the Father and should have been. The Board agreed to withdraw the Hearing Request and re-file another with notice to both parents.
FINAL DECISION AND ORDER:
The matter is DISMISSED.
