Attorney Goldberg represents individuals who seek Social Security Disability Benefits (SSDI/Title II) from the Social Security Administration. He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR). In order to successfully pursue a claim for SSDI benefits, a claimant must, among other things, prove that he/she has been or will be totally disabled from performing any substantial gainful activity for at least twelve consecutive months or have a disability that is expected to result in death. The benefits under SSDI are payable beginning with the sixth month of disability, as there is a waiting period of five full months of disability before entitlement begins.

Attorney Goldberg has been successful in obtaining benefits for clients following hearings before Administrative Law Judges for disabilities ranging from heart disease to psychiatric disorders.
