Social Security Disability Attorney Goldberg represents individuals who seek Social Security Disability Benefits (SSDI/Title II) from the Social Security Administration. He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR). In order to successfully pursue a claim for SSDI benefits, a claimant must, among other things, prove that he/she has been or will be totally disabled from performing any substantial gainful activity for at least twelve consecutive months or have a disability that is expected to result in death. The benefits under SSDI are payable beginning with the sixth month of disability, as there is a waiting period of five full months of disability before entitlement begins.
